National Hispanic Recognition Program - Class of 2019

Reported by sandy_schuller@ipsd.org on 10/4/18

The College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) identifies academically outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students. Each year, the NHRP honors students that scored in the top 2.5% among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT test takers. In order to be eligible, students must meet these requirements: take the PSAT/NMSQT in October of their junior year in high school, be of at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino descent, achieve the minimum required PSAT/NMSQT cutoff score (this index score may vary by state, region, and territory each year), and achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher by the middle of junior year.

Please join us in congratulating this year’s recipients: College Board National Hispanic Scholars – NVHS 2019
