Reported by beth_knuth@ipsd.org on 11/27/18

The Neuqua Valley Business Department is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 2-8).

This year's Hour of Code Event will take place on Tuesday December 4, 2018 from 2:30-3:30 pm in D208. It is open to ANYONE regardless of skill level. No coding experience required! Numerous resources will be offered for students to try coding, and cookies will be provided. We will even be having raffle prizes for those students that stay to code, including gift cards, tshirts, Google Cardboard VR devices, and a Raspberry Pi Computer.

The Hour of Code, organized by the nonprofit Code.org and over 100 others, is a global movement that believes the students of today are ready to learn critical skills for 21st-century success. Please join us.
