Neuqua Students win Silent Film Compeition
Neuqua Valley Media Department students produced one of three winning films at the first ever Student Silent Film Festival this past Saturday. Competing against 10 other area high schools, Neuqua advanced production students won with their film 'Outcast' the story of a disillusioned teenager challenged by circumstance and tested by fate. The film was created by students Nemo Keane, Megan Kosak, Erin Kuehner, Armin Nikravan, Brynn Okon, Maddie Rambissoon, Claire Reveles, Sarah Rusin, Charlene Tan, and Matt Thomas. The festival was held at the San Filippo Estate in Barrington and was scored by a theater organist on an 80 pipe organ, the largest theater organ ever built. The schools will be provided with the original score to place in the film. 'Outcast' will be released on www.neuquamedia.org and on twitter @neuquamedia later this week.
