The Foreign Language classroom is a springboard for learning to appreciate the diversity of the world. The learning of a language provides connections to a global environment, which allows students to think of themselves as citizens of the world as well as of the United States.
The study of Foreign Language is not a graduation requirement. However, it is usually required for college entrance.
Many colleges require the study of at least two years of a foreign language as one of their admission requirements. We advise our students to take at least two years of consecutive language study.
