Intramural Basketball

1. Each team must consist of a minimum of six players
    
2. Everyone must play in each half of the game
    
3. Every player must pay a $10.00 entrance fee, due to Captain by Dec 1st to be eligible to play in the league. The money will be used for equipment, officials and awards.
    
4. Two 15 minute periods will be played with a running clock. The clock will stop during the final minute of each half. Halftime will be three minutes.
    
5. Tie games will have a sudden death overtime (5 minutes).
    
6. Each team is allotted one timeout per game.
    
7. The opposing team gets the ball out of bounds after a foul. If the person is fouled in the act of shooting, the team (player) gets one point plus the ball out of bounds. If the person gets fouled in the act of shooting and makes the basket, the team (player) gets the points plus an additional point then the ball goes to the opposing team.
    
8. During the final minute of each half, every foul is worth one point to the receiving team plus the ball out of bounds.
    
9. Five minutes will be allowed for warm-ups and line-ups before each game.
    
10. The "Pro" League will consist of students who belong to the Junior and Senior class only, each team needs a pro name. The "Collegiate" level (college names) will consist of all Sophomores and Freshman. A player may only pay on one team and in one league.
     
11. The first team listed is the home team (if conflict in shirts).
     
12. If for any reason we have cancellations we will try to make up at the end of the season.
     
13. Unsportsmanlike conduct will be dealt with by the I-M director and Administration. Poor sportsmanship can result in game suspensions to removal from the league.
     
14. Check the bulletin board on a regular basis for schedule changes/updates.
