Valley 1999 Soccer Season Results
Team Accomplishments
This was the first year that Neuqua Valley had seniors in the school. Nine seniors lead
the varsity squad to a 8-12-3 over season record. The team finished with an Upstate Eight
record of 3-5-1. One of the highlights of the season was a 1-0 win over Wheaton Academy.
Neuqua was one of only two teams that beat Wheaton Academy this year. Another highlight
was a 2-2 tie against soccer power St Charles East.
The team was lead by captains Keith Galvin, Neil Hiner and Ryan Nurse.
The JV team finished the season with a 7-3-2 record and an Upstate Eight record of 4-2-1.
The sophomore team finished the season with 9-7-2 record and an Upstate Eight record of
5-2-2. The freshman overall record was 6-6-7 and a 3-5-2 record in the Upstate Eight
Conference.
