The Neuqua Valley High School LMC (Library Media Center)
offers students and teachers a wide variety of resources in many formats for
research, personal inquiry, and reading pleasure. A growing collection of
over 28,000 books is augmented by 48 magazines and newspapers. Access to
1800 magazines and journals, as well as biographical, historical,
scientific, governmental, and fine arts resources, is available via 10
databases and Internet access on 36 networked computers. Students and staff
can choose from a broad selection of science fiction, fantasy, and
mysteries, along with classics and literary fiction, for personal reading.
Up-to-date nonfiction and reference materials support the curriculum as well
as general interest.
Student check-out of library materials is for a three week period. Student
IDs are required to check out books or use the library computers. A copy
machine is available for student use (10-cents/copy).
