Youth and Government Informational Meetings

Reported by on 8/26/21

Wildcats, are you interested in debate? Current events? Improving your leadership or communication skills? Then consider joining Youth and Government.

Youth and Government is a state-wide program focused on developing tomorrow's leaders and promoting active citizenship. In this competitive club, students take on the roles of legislators, attorneys, executive officials, lobbyists, press members and more. Youth and Government culminates in a three-day event where students literally take over the state capitol -- debating bills, arguing and judging cases, and reporting the news of the day.

If this sounds like you, our informational meetings are on Thursday, September 2 OR Thursday, September 9 at 2:30 in room J212 at the freshman building and C204 at the main building.
