e-Learning Day - Friday, January 23, 2026

Due to the Extreme Cold Warning issued by the National Weather Service, all students in Indian Prairie will have an asynchronous e-Learning Day on Friday, January 23, 2026. Students should check Google Classroom for their assigned materials. Early childhood families will receive an email with activities prior to 8 AM on Friday. 

Students will follow their e-Learning Day schedules and access lessons and assignments through their teachers and learning platforms. Staff will be available to support students during the school day, and additional details will be shared by schools and teachers.

Transportation will not be provided for any students who attend out of district programs.

All before-school activities and athletics will be canceled on Friday, January 23, 2026. The status of all after-school activities will be communicated by building principals and athletic events will occur as scheduled. 

The Right At School program is canceled. For information on the YMCA Safe & Sound program, please visit their website at www.fryfamilyymca.org.

All school buildings and central offices will be closed on Friday, January 23, 2026.
