Join the Rocket Club Summer Program—June 15–19 at Neuqua Valley High School

We are excited to announce that the Neuqua Valley Rocket Club will be running a summer program for rising 6th to 8th graders from June 15 to June 19 at Neuqua Valley High School! Neuqua Valley has the biggest high school rocket club in the country and is a great way for students to learn more about the world of engineering and aerospace.

This hands-on program introduces students to the world of model rocketry—from design and construction to a live launch at the end of the week. The program costs $200 (see below for payment details). 
Daily Schedule (10:00 am - 11:30 am) :
Monday: Intro Day & Design -  Icebreaker, rocketry basics, software tutorial, rocket planning

Tuesday: Build Day 1 - Make fins and nosecones, cut body tubes, and prep materials

Wednesday: Build Day 2 -  Build parachutes and begin rocket assembly

Thursday: Final Build & Art Day -  Glue parts, personalize rockets, and final checks

Friday (10:15 am –12:15 pm): Launch Day -  Parachute setup, launch procedure, rocket launching, photos, and snacks

The program is limited to the first 20 who sign up and pay. To register, please complete this short form and remit your payment via check made out to Wildcat Stem Fund and mailed to Anthony Tegtmeyer, Neuqua Valley High School, 2360 95th St, Naperville, IL 60564. Cash is also accepted.
